Natalya recently broke that record on Sunday night when she faced Charlotte Flair at Hell In A Cell. Stratus commented about Natalya breaking the record on her website and had nothing but great things to say.
In case you didn’t know…
Natalya has scratched and clawed her way to the top of SmackDown Live just like the cats she loves so very much.
She recently broke a rather impressive record and her heel character is becoming a tentpole for SmackDown’s Women’s Division.
The heart of the matter
Trish Stratus has a pretty nifty website where she can pontificate on whatever she likes. She recently commented about Natalya breaking her pay-per-view match record at Hell In A Cell.
She also reiterated her desire to work with the SmackDown Women’s Champion after her retirement.
What’s next?
Natalya isn’t finished making pay-per-view appearances. At this point, she has plenty more to come. She’s still the SmackDown Women’s Champion although she kept it via nefarious means on Sunday.
As Natalya’s career continues it will make her record of most PPV matches from a woman in WWE even greater. It’s a great accomplishment and very well deserved for “The Queen Of Harts”.
Author’s take
The 35-year-old Natalya still wrestles like she’s a decade younger. With her veteran ability and knowledge of the business, she’s a great asset to WWE and will probably continue their partnership well past her in-ring career.
I’m so happy for Natalya because she’s not only a great wrestler but she’s an outstanding human being. She also loves cats a lot which is just the cherry on top as far as I’m concerned.
