In case you didn’t know
Scott Steiner had a little run with TNA and during that time he battled Samoa Joe. Before the Sacrifice pay-per-view, Steiner commented on Samoa Joe before their match where he gave some interesting mathematics reasons why he would be coming out on top of their match that evening.
Heart of the matter
Taking into consideration the quote above, now you are well-versed in the subject matter already. Therefore when Tony Nese received a comment saying he was the “new generation of Big Poppa Pump” he had a reply locked and loaded.
With great succinctness, Nese simply replied that he was not sure if he could match Scott Steiner’s wrestling math. Steiner did display some rather impressive arithmetic when breaking down Samoa Joe’s odds of beating him in 2009, therefore Nese was plausibly well-versed in Steiner’s superior level of analysis and knew he couldn’t hold a candle to that level of thinking.
What’s next?
As the years go on, perhaps there will be another person people equate to anyone having a ripped body. Maybe Tony Nese himself could become that new benchmark? But in the meantime, Scott Steiner holds that distinction although Nese apparently doesn’t like the comparison.
Author’s take
Tony Nese’s reply to this social media post certainly displays a high level of thinking on his toes. It also illustrates how well he knows the pro wrestling business. It was a pretty great reply if I do say so myself.
