The brand new RAW Tag Team Champions, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, only started teaming up since last month. However, their performance as a tag team has been flawless and attracted praises from Stone Cold. The WWE Hall of Famer stated,

Buildup to the main event
In his podcast, Stone Cold pointed out how the title change helped in building up for the main event of Clash of Champions. According to him, losing the RAW Tag Team Championships made more sense and provided Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman with more reasons to beat each other.
He was right indeed, as Seth Rollins gave in his everything and successfully defended the WWE Universal Championship against the ‘Monster Among Men’.
