#5 Paul Heyman sends a message after betraying Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble

Brock Lesnar lost his WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2022 against Bobby Lashley. However, The All Mighty didn’t get his hands on gold via a clean finish.

When the match official was knocked out, Roman Reigns interfered and attacked Lesnar to help put the odds in opponents’ favor. He then asked Paul Heyman for the title, which he used as a weapon against The Beast Incarnate.

Heyman walked away from the ring with Reigns while Lesnar was pinned inside the ring. The latter would eventually enter the Royal Rumble at No.30 and win the contest to punch his ticket to WrestleMania.

But he was betrayed by his former advocate on the show, and Paul Heyman doesn’t regret his decision to pick Roman Reigns over Brock Lesnar. He recently sent out a tweet saying, “THEN. NOW. FOREVER. TOGETHER.”

Heyman has confirmed his intentions to remain aligned with his Tribal Chief. It appears that his momentary return to Lesnar’s corner was a long-term plan by Reigns. Could that backfire on the Universal Champion sometime soon?

Earlier this week on RAW, Brock Lesnar confirmed that he would challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania this year.

However, he has bold plans in place before going after Reigns’ gold. Lesnar wants his clash against The Tribal Chief to be a champion vs. champion match, and thus, he first wishes to dethrone Lashley as the WWE Champion.

Later this month, Bobby Lashley will defend his title against Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Austin Theory, and Riddle at Elimination Chamber. But before that, The Beast Incarnate is expected to confront Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman on SmackDown later this week.

It will be interesting to see how things go when Lesnar meets Reigns and Heyman again on the blue brand.

#4 WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss reacts to viral marriage document

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss recently responded to a fan who asked about the authenticity of a marriage dissolution document making rounds on the internet. The RAW Superstar confirmed that the document is fake.

Bliss got engaged to musician Ryan Cabera in November 2020 and is reportedly planning to tie the knot after WrestleMania 38.

Alexa Bliss recently returned to WWE television after a brief time off. She is currently undergoing therapy sessions that have given viewers an insight into her relationship with Lilly. It will be interesting to see how and when she returns to the in-ring competition in the coming weeks.

#3 WWE legend comments on Seth Rollins’ potential “face turn” at Royal Rumble

WWE legend Booker T feels that Seth Rollins turned into one of the biggest babyfaces in the company during his match against Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble.

The Architect played a lot of mind games and used several clever tricks, such as making an entrance on Shield’s music using the stables gear and using Reigns’ old offense against his opponent.

The Tribal Chief eventually retained his title by intentionally disqualifying himself. He launched a brutal attack on Rollins that mirrored the latter’s actions when he betrayed the SHIELD.

Booker T feels that it makes Seth Rollins look like the biggest face in the arena and justified his stance by saying:

Rollins is now a part of the WWE Championship picture as he is one of the five RAW Superstars who will challenge Bobby Lashley for his title at Elimination Chamber.

Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar are the only two superstars who were given a direct entry into this title clash. In contrast, the other three challengers booked their spot on the back of brutal qualification matches on RAW earlier this week.

#2 Bianca Belair shares honest thoughts on huge WWE return

WWE Superstar Bianca Belair shared her honest thoughts on Ronda Rousey’s surprise return and victory at Royal Rumble. The EST acknowledged her star power and compared it to Becky Lynch’s return at SummerSlam last year.

However, she also questioned the timing of these comebacks and talked about how the active superstars work all year only for their efforts to be overshadowed by such moments. She said:

Belair was one of the strongest competitors in the women’s Royal Rumble this year. She was the Iron Woman , having lasted inside the ring for 47:30 minutes after entering at No.8.

The match eventually ended with Ronda Rousey eliminating Charlotte Flair to win her first Royal Rumble and getting a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania.

#1 Edge rooted for WWE RAW Superstar in his early days

WWE Hall of Famer Edge recognized Dolph Ziggler’s potential early on and conveyed the message to Vince McMahon.

Freddie Prinze Jr. recently revealed how industry veterans sometimes went against creative plans to give newcomers a chance. He recalled how The Rated-R Superstar did the same for Ziggler and said:

Dolph Ziggler is currently competing in the RAW tag team division alongside Robert Roode.

As for Edge, he teamed up with Hall of Famer and his wife Beth Phoenix to take on The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match at Royal Rumble. The Rated-R Superstar and The Glamazon won the bout to end their rivalry with the “IT couple” on the red brand.
