Jeff Hardy recently revealed on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast that he wanted to face Brock Lesnar as the final opponent in his WWE career when it’s finally time for him to retire. Jeff Hardy was incidentally Lesnar’s opponent in The Beast’s first televised WWE match at Backlash 2002. Hardy got mauled by Lesnar on the night and he made quick work of the Charismatic Enigma.

During the show, Hardy also revealed an idea he had to hit Paul Heyman with a Swanton Bomb over Brock Lesnar but WWE management rejected the idea feeling that it would be hard to pull off:

Kevin Owens and Jimmy Uso out with injuries

We got bad news regarding former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and multiple-time former tag team champion Jimmy Uso this week, with both men reportedly picking up injuries at WrestleMania 36.

Owens revealed he was dealing with an ankle injury during an interview with Canadian outlet RDS. Owens revealed that he picked up the injury during his dive off the WrestleMania sign during his match against the ‘Monday Night Messiah’ Seth Rollins. Owens added that he didn’t yet know how serious the injury was but expected it to be either a sprain or a mild fracture and added that he would be getting an X-ray done soon.

As far as Jimmy Uso is concerned, the news of his injury was broken by Ringside News and we’re still waiting for it to be officially confirmed. According to the report, Jimmy Uso picked up the injury during the SmackDown Tag Team title ladder match at WrestleMania. Uso reportedly injured his knee during the match and it is said to be serious and could possibly keep him out of action for between six and nine months meaning that he could be out of action till the end of 2020.

The Rock and John Cena are helping Becky Lynch with her acting career

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was a guest on a recent episode of WWE’s The Bump. During the show, she revealed that she would be a guest star in season 5 of the SHOWTIME drama ‘Billions’.

Lynch was later interviewed by TMZ and revealed that two WWE greats, The Rock and John Cena, were helping her with her fledgling acting career. Both The Rock and John Cena successfully transitioned into careers in Hollywood and are the best people to help Lynch find her feet in Hollywood.

Lynch also revealed that The Rock had helped put her in touch with his agent.

Possible reason why Rey Mysterio was aligned with Cain Velasquez in WWE

Rey Mysterio was partnered up with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez after the latter signed with WWE and made his on-screen debut. Velasquez was recently released from his lucrative multi-year deal with the WWE as the company continues to deal with the fallout from the Coronavirus outbreak.

Dolph Ziggler recently posted a tweet expressing his disappointment that he couldn’t find his segment with Sonya Deville on SmackDown on any of WWE’s official channels. Recently released WWE Superstar Karl Anderson replied to it, taking a shot at WWE, hinting that it wasn’t posted because it would help Ziggler get over with fans:

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were released from their WWE contracts last month along with a host of Superstars and other personnel.

Both Money In The Bank ladder matches to take place simultaneously

WWE announced earlier this week that for the first time ever, both Money In The Bank ladder matches will take place simultaneously this year.

This year’s MITB ladder matches will take place from WWE HQ and will feature Superstars brawling their way from the ground floor all the way up to the roof where the MITB briefcases will be suspended.

WWE Money In The Bank is shaping up to be a really interesting PPV, with a number of title matches booked for the card. Despite being held behind closed doors, WWE have so far done a fantastic job to stir up interest in the show.
