At this year’s event, the WWE Universe was left disappointed as superstars from NXT 2.0 didn’t compete in either the Men’s or Women’s Rumble Match. Breakker recently began a feud with WWE main roster veteran Dolph Ziggler. He gained a historic win over Tommaso Ciampa to capture the title and was seemingly considered for the Men’s Rumble, as well. According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it has been reported that WWE planned a segment between Breakker and Ziggler....

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler successfully defended their titles whereas The Hurt Business defeated The New Day. We also saw Braun Strowman join the official men’s team that will represent WWE RAW at Survivor Series. WWE RAW has the King of the Ring tournament starting this week, and it will be quite interesting to see if this can help WWE retain the viewership (or even improve upon it) after the solid numbers from the post-SummerSlam show. In case you didn’t know… Reigning and defending WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have been feuding since early November, after Dean turned is back on Rollins and Roman Reigns on the very night Reigns announced his leukaemia diagnosis during an episode of Monday Night RAW. Ambrose has been playing mind games with Seth, even going so far as to wearing a gas mask and taking shots to rid himself of any germs, diseases, parasites, etc....

Rollins will be playing the role of AstroTech Lopez, though his role is not supposed to be too long and can be labeled as a cameo rather than a prominent part of the film. Zelina Vega reposted the image on Twitter on Saturday and claimed that, with the exception of Reina Gonzalez, she is “the only Latina that matters” in WWE. A large part of Taynara Conti’s gimmick is based around her “Latinas Do It Better” catchphrase, so it did not take long for the NXT Superstar to give her response. After much reported vacillation, it is now understood that The Undertaker will resume his old positions on the tour schedule. According to wrestlinginc.com, The Phenom will team up with Kane to face Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan in London and Newcastle. The appearance in London, on the 19th, will be for an episode of SmackDown and the WWE will travel to Newcastle the next day for a live event. Initial reports stated that The Undertaker was removed from live events in Paris, Brussels and Malaga before it emerged that he was removed from the whole tour....

Fortunately, for a part of the WWE Universe that attended an NXT Live event in Davenport Iowa, they were treated to a special appearance from Seth Rollins, who had a powerful message for his hometown crowd. If nothing else, it was a truly special moment for longtime fans of his and hopefully a sign that WWE will do more of this in the future. In case you didn’t know… It may have taken three curb stomps and an absolute beating at the hands of Brock Lesnar, but Seth Rollins finally pinned The Beast to become the new Universal champion at WrestleMania 35....

Lynch stated that she used to lose her sleep during her early run in NXT, and once approached Bill DeMott and begged him to let her showcase her in-ring skills. In case you didn’t know… Dominik Dijakovic debuted for NXT in September of 2017, wrestling under the name “Chris Dijak” before his eventual rebranding. Since then, he’s become a legit monster in NXT. In his short time with the brand, he’s gone up against top talents like Ricochet, Keith Lee, Roderick Strong, and Aleister Black on both NXT TV and house shows. Recently, he took on Luke Harper during the Worlds Collide: NXT Alumni vs NXT Superstars event, losing to the former Intercontinental Champion after a barnburner of a performance....

The former WWE head writer was on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW to review the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. Russo did not take kindly to the whole gimmick and gear for both Rollins and Becky. Russo mentioned that both the superstars were dressing ridiculously. He also pointed out that the transition in their gimmicks has not been smooth. He detailed that Seth Rollins used to be “Monday Night Messiah” and Becky Lynch used to be “The Man” but somehow they lost those personas without giving the fans any context....

Governor John Bel Edwards said that WrestleMania 34 brought in $175 million with an attendance of 78,133 fans, surpassing the profits and attendance from WrestleMania 30. The show emanated from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with an attendance of 75,167 and brought in $142 million for the city.
