Acting General Manager Baron Corbin then replaced the Revival in the match with Ziggler and McIntyre, meaning the B Team had to defend their titles against unexpected opponents and clearly, they weren’t prepared. The heart of the matter This is the first major set back for the B Team since they went on their unbelievable winning streak that would see them eventually win the greatest tag-team prize on Monday Night Raw, the Raw Tag Team Titles....

According to latest reports, WWE officials are planning for a ‘special’ RAW episode later this year to enthral the WWE universe. The rumours that are being circulated say that the WWE have planned a special three hour show that would probably be featured on Monday. The entire duration of the three hour show will be divided into three one hour segments where in the first hour would feature WWE Smackdown, the second hour would feature WWE Main Event and RAW would be featured in the final hour of the show....

Randy Orton and Riddle were the stars of WWE RAW this week. It was heartening to see the entire show based around the tag team division because the crowd was absolutely into the action, which is a rarity on RAW these days. Unless you were viewing the show with a critical lens, there really isn’t much to pick apart from WWE RAW this week. One could harp upon the fact that Baron Corbin had music for a few seconds before it was cut off, or that the promos that Nikki A....

Tonight on RAW, we saw The Fiend appear out of nowhere to take down the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle. The Hall of Famer was there as the special guest referee for Drew McIntyre vs Cedric Alexander, but unfortunately, The Fiend had other plans in store. Not long ago, Wyatt attacked Mick Foley in the same way and took him out with his mandible claw on the RAW reunion. This makes Angle the third victim of Wyatt after Foley and Finn Balor....

But despite that, there were many great moments this week. Here are the 5 points to note. 5: Down to Business The opening segment of Raw was the same but yet so different. Firstly, the pace was on point. Roman Reigns, Stephanie McMahon, Mick Foley- all of them walked out to settle some business or the other. And they interrupted each other in quite a brisk, no-nonsense fashion. Secondly, it is great to note that while Shane and Stephanie McMahon are well-established authority figures, both the Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan seem powerful figures playing the General Manager....

The event itself was a great one, with the highlights of it being the main event between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins and, obviously, the match between Bray Wyatt’s Fiend and Finn Balor. The Irishman didn’t invoke the Demon for this SummerSlam clash against The Fiend as the latter needed a perfect squash win to get himself off to a flying start and that is exactly what happened. The mannerisms that The Fiend showed in the ring and the brutality with which he conducted himself in the ring really got everyone hyped up....

It was set to be a star-studded celebration, but what happened instead left everybody in a state of absolute shock. Batista returned and called out Triple H, demanding his attention. That was the focal point of the show, but what was even bigger was the fact that Roman Reigns returned and announced that he’s officially in remission. We couldn’t be happier for The Big Dog, who will be making his return far sooner than anticipated....

Marella’s WWE career Marella came to WWE in 2007, soon after WrestleMania 23. On an episode of RAW, he was selected from the crowd by Vince McMahon, to face Umaga for the Intercontinental title. After receiving a brutal beating from the Samoan monster, Marella pulled off possibly the biggest upset in Pro Wrestling history and won the Intercontinental title with help from Bobby Lashley, who was engaged in a rivalry with McMahon at the time....

But that seems to have all changed recently and the numbers prove the same. This past week (July 3rd) show of SmackDown had just 2.013 million viewers, just a few thousand more than the lowest figure in SmackDown history since moving to Tuesday nights which was 1.921 million viewers on November 8th, 2016 show. In case you didn’t know… Prior to moving to Tuesday nights in 2016, the SmackDown show was broadcast on Thursday nights and then switched to Friday nights....
