Styles came out on SmackDown Live to discuss his match against Brock Lesnar from Survivor Series this past Sunday and told Lesnar that he’d be up to for a rematch in the future. Styles then called Mahal out for his claims of taking the title back from him and Mahal appeared on the titantron. This week’s episode of Raw marked the beginning of the Paul Heyman Era. Toxic Attraction vs. Io Shirai, Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro on NXT 2.0 Mandy had the upper hand early on and tagged in Dolin who picked up the pace before tagging in Jacy. Shirai came in and managed to turn things around with a Dragonscrew before Kacy and Kayden came back in for a big sequence of shots. WWE announced that NXT, its brand featuring up-and-coming talent along with established independent stars, will air live weekly on the USA Network starting Sept. 18. The NXT show, which to this point has aired exclusively on the WWE Network, will be expanding to two hours and will air Wednesday nights from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Although Strowman has lately been performing as a babyface, it’s widely believed that this big man truly shines when allowed to work as a monster heel. It’s not totally unexpected to hear Vince McMahon and WWE management make changes to their scripts just mere moments before any of the programs are scheduled to be broadcast live. However, this week it seems that most of the entirity of Monday Night RAW was changed moments before going on air.
