The end of a historic week in WWE, which saw Roman Reigns make history by eliminating 12 entrants in the Royal Rumble, and finally bow out to the returning Batista, who won his second Royal Rumble. WWE have a lot of work to please the fans following the recent backlash, which included fans protesting first due to the absence of Daniel Bryan from the Royal Rumble main event and then due to the sudden departure of fans favourite CM Punk, who quit the WWE following differences with the officials....

The show opened with a bang RAW kicked off with Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman, who came down to the ring with all the Superstars who’d helped them attacked The Shield last week on RAW. Ziggler told the fans he’d told them so while Strowman praised the RAW locker room for helping take out The Shield. The peace didn’t last long as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns came down from the crowd and took out axehandles as weapons....

Rollins touched upon the topic of him injuring Finn Balor at SummerSlam 2016, stating that he didn’t mean to do it and hopes that Balor’s fans don’t hold it against him. In case you didn’t know… Seth Rollins is on the top of the Monday Night Raw food chain at the moment. He won the WWE Universal Title in the opening match at WrestleMania 35, defeating “The Beast” Brock Lesnar in quick succession....

In case you didn’t know… Rollins challenges Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship later tonight in a match that technically shouldn’t have happened if we look at what the company already scheduled for WrestleMania this year. Roman Reigns was supposed to walk into the Show of Shows with the Universal Championship for the first time, but personal problems got in the way and now Lesnar walks into another WrestleMania level main event....

In case you didn’t know…. In a recent interview with ESPN, HBK revealed Samoa Joe to be his dream opponent and the one superstar he would love to work with if he comes out of retirement. He mentioned that the two would have fun putting together an entertaining and hard-hitting program. HBK recently made a return to RAW to promote his upcoming movie, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone. Many thought he would announce himself for the Royal Rumble match when WWE advertised his return, but it sadly wasn’t the case....

Even though SmackDown Live has been viewed by many as the better show, the tag team title picture has been poorly exposed. The current champions, American Alpha, won the championship on December 27 at the conclusion of a fatal four-way match including the defending champions The Wyatt Family, along with challengers The Usos and Heath Slater & Rhyno. Since then, American Alpha have not been in a notable feud to make them look strong as a team, and did not even compete at the Royal Rumble in any capacity....

Apparently, Sin Cara underwent surgery so as to repair an injury he’d sustained to his knee. Besides, the veteran Luchador expounded upon the surgical procedure he went through. In case you didn’t know… Sin Cara, whose real name is Jorge Arias, has competed in the sport of professional wrestling since 1999. The 40 year old Superstar previously wrestled under the ring-name Hunico in the WWE—and has performed for the WWE since 2009....

Of course, Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan haven’t exactly done much with their time on Raw yet either, but one has to wonder when exactly these women will get a chance to shine again. With that being said, Liv Morgan is apparently not happy about how she is being used right now and aired her grievances on Twitter in what appears to be a personal shot at the company....

Seth Rollins injuring his knee yet again is the news that has shocked the wrestling world this week. Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin has uploaded a GIF on his official Twitter account, which sheds light on when exactly Seth Rollins sustained his knee injury. In case you didn’t know… Rollins had earlier torn his ACL, MCL and medial meniscus on his knee at a house show back in November 2015....

In case you didn’t know… Big E and Xavier Woods have been a part of the top storyline on SmackDown, heading into WrestleMania. They’ve been at the side of their pal Kofi Kingston and ran the gauntlet on SmackDown last week, somehow winning the match to ensure that Kofi Kingston will be heading to WrestleMania to face Daniel Bryan. Kofi has been on a hot streak since his performance at Elimination Chamber....

While at the event, Triple H & Stephanie were probed on Rich Swann’s current WWE status, in response to which the duo affirmed that Swann will remain suspended until the case is closed, and terminated if found guilty by a court of law. In case you didn’t know… Rich Swann was involved in a domestic violence incident with his wife Su Yung (real-name—Vannarah Riggs). Swann was seen dragging Yung into their car by forcing her into a head-lock, despite her protests against going with him....

In the midst of John Cena building up towards a match against the Phenom, The Game stated that only time will tell whether Taker continues to wrestle or not. Triple H, however, didn’t commit to his retirement and left the door open for a return to the ring after the 34th edition of the show of shows. In case you didn’t know… The Undertaker is scheduled to return to work a dream match against John Cena, who has been relentless in his call-outs to the Deadman in recent weeks....

In case you didn’t know… Following the aftermath of the first ever WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016, the WWE decided to make the Cruiserweight division into a brand of their own which eventually gave started the company’s 205 Live show. As noted, 205 Live currently features some of WWE’s most high flying superstars such as the likes of Buddy Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Roderick Strong and many more. In the past, we have also witnessed superstars such as Neville, Austin Aries, and even Enzo Amore competing under the 205 Live banner....

In a recent appearance on talkSPORT’s Gorilla Position podcast, Triple H revealed why the match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair headlined the ‘Hell in a Cell’ pay-per-view. He also discussed the WWE women’s revolution and how proud he feels about it. In case you didn’t know… Sasha Banks put her Raw Women’s Championship on the line against longtime rival Charlotte Flair in the first ever women’s Hell in a Cell match at the eponymous pay-per-view last year....

Vince McMahon, the Chairman of the company has recently endorsed his former employee The Rock’s movie, Central Intelligence. The movie is also starred by Kevin Hart. WWE Studio has made movies in the past like The Scorpion King, The Rundown and Walking Tall, that had The Rock take on the lead role. Vince McMahon in the past has always taken a step to promote his wrestlers to the most whenever possible....

The highlight of today’s show would be The Miz and Dolph’s segment. No one, absolutely no one has the talking ability to smack like The Miz does. Ruthless and vitriolic. With Ziggler putting his career on the line, it just made the title match at No Mercy even more ‘awweeesome’. Today’s main event was fairly mediocre. With AJ Styles defeating Ambrose and John Cena giving both the competitors an AA and holding the title above them, the build-up to the main event at No Mercy seems to gain momentum albeit rather with some friction....

However, as noted, tonight’s episode of SD Live kicked off with a tag team dark match featuring four of Smackdown’s most notable Superstars. In case you didn’t know… Since making his WWE debut in 2017, Mike Kanellis’ journey in the company has not been easy. In case you didn’t know… Finn Balor is scheduled to face Drew McIntyre at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs in just six days time as part of a show that already has Braun Strowman on the sidelines after only recently undergoing elbow surgery. WWE already has a number of notable absentees including Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns and Strowman, which could be why the focus has been solely on the match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose heading into this weekend’s show since there are so many missing faces at present....
