This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Vince Russo reviewed the latest episode of the Monday Night show. Unimpressed with the booking, he mentioned that the creative team had lost the ability to maintain the superstardom of their performers. Russo detailed that the creative team in WWE, including Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard, could no longer keep their superstars over. He explained his point with the examples of superstars like Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch....

In case you didn’t know… Roman Reigns is related to the likes of Nia Jax, Tamina Snuka, and The Usos, and the relations between these stars have been noted on WWE TV before even though Tamina only returned to the ring a few weeks ago in order to be part of Evolution she was still able to have an impressive showing in the Battle Royal. Over the past week, a number of stars have paid tribute to Roman Reigns as he begins his second battle with cancer, most notably Braun Strowman who appears to be lost without his familiar dancing partner at his side....

In case you didn’t know… WWE’s inaugural Mae Young Classic Tournament took place in the summer of 2017 with 32 of the very best women from around the world and the Independent circuit competing against each other in order to decide the inaugural winner of the MYC. Several top female superstars such as Candice LeRae, current NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, Toni Storm, Piper Niven, and eventual tournament winner Kairi Sane, were all part of the first ever Mae Young Classic Tournament....

Well, after a photo of two WWE legends surfaced online, the seven-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions have now said they’d love to wrestle the two former WWE World Champions. The photo retweeted by Nick Jackson was this… In case you didn’t know… Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio have been friends for a very long time, with Chris Jericho recently listing Rey as one of his five favourite opponents of all time....

With that, NXT GM William Regal stated before the show that we’d have two major announcements tonight. Tonight’s NXT also featured two championship bouts, with both the NXT Tag Team Titles and the NXT North American Championship on the line. We started the night off with the Women’s Champion Io Shirai, who took on Shotzi Blackheart in an exhilarating non-title match. Shotzi Blackheart vs Io Shirai on NXT Shotzi Blackheart offered her hand, looking for a showing of sportsmanship before the match....

NXT Championship: Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole We are on the brink of history as Johnny Gargano will face-off against Adam Cole in a 2-out-of-3 falls match for the currently vacated NXT Championship. Gargano was set to square off against Tommaso Ciampa in the latest instalment of their historic rivalry. But a neck injury forced the Blackheart to relinquish the title. The WWE COO, Triple H, decided that the new champion will be decided in a bout between Gargano and the winner of a Fatal-five way match between Adam Cole, Aleister Black, Ricochet, Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle, in which the Undisputed Era leader emerged victorious....

Scheduled to take place the night before the Royal Rumble, TakeOver: Philadelphia will be a seminal event for establishing the year to come on NXT programming. What matches would be ideal for NXT’s next big show? With a card of seven bouts - two for the pre-show which will air on NXT the following week and five for the main show, the first TakeOver of 2018 wouldn’t go far wrong airing one or more of these matches....

However, WWE has a bad record when it comes to Superstars getting married inside the squared circle. The scenario may turn out to be different for Bobby Lashley and Lana and the fans will have to tune in to the show to find out. Apart from the grand wedding, RAW will also feature the TLC rematch between Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy. Both of them are determined to outperform one another and it will be interesting to see gets the upper hand this time....

Elias and Finn Balor were both victim to Baron Corbin’s new group, comprising of himself, Bobby Lashley and the ever-relentless Drew McIntyre. They both faced unfair circumstances in their matches and were defeated. AoP retained the RAW Tag Team Championship against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable after manager Drake Maverick urinated on Roode’s robe (that really happened). Ember Moon defeated Alicia Fox in short order while Jinder Mahal finally picked up a W against No Way Jose....

In case you didn’t know… The triple threat match between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte and Becky Lynch has been building since before Survivor Series and was only confirmed at Elimination Chamber after Becky beat Charlotte by DQ. The heart of the matter Seth Rollins recently spoke to Sporting News and gave his thoughts on women headlining WrestleMania for the first time: What’s next? Seth Rollins will be facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship....

In case you didn’t know… Rollins was riding high as a heel for a number of months with the likes of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kane, J&J Security and even Randy Orton by his side, which allowed him to push his name into the main event level of the company. Roman Reigns wasn’t getting the desired reaction from the WWE Universe following his Royal Rumble win earlier in the year, so it appears that WWE needed a backup plan and Rollins was the best that they had....

Now, Cormier has revealed what RAW Superstar Seth Rollins, who is a friend of Cormier, texted him following his confrontation with Lesnar. In case you didn’t know… After defeating Stipe Miocic and winning the Heavyweight title, Cormier became only the second person in UFC history to hold two titles. He now holds the Heavyweight title and the Light Heavyweight title. Following the match, Lesnar entered the ring after being challenged by Cormier and the two are not set to face off against each other, till some time in the future....

In case you didn’t know… Shawn Michaels has taken on a hands-on role with the NXT Superstars and has been accompanying them on their recent tour of America, working closely with NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano via videos on social media and is due to have a social-media based ab-off with Johnny Wrestling during TakeOver: WarGames. However, at San Antonio, Michaels would take on his first in-ring role in quite some time as the special guest referee in the main event title match....

His latest movie, Central Intelligence , opened on June 17th amidst much fanfare. It was estimated to have a whopping $30 million opening weekend collection. According to Deadline, the movie beat the estimates and is eyeing to open with $33.5 million. They also noted that the audience loved the action comedy. And it looks like the critics have not thrown it under the bus either. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 69% rating....

However, one woman who is seemingly determined to step up to the plate and challenge ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ at The Grandest Stage of Them All is none other than ‘The Nightmare’, Rhea Ripley. In case you didn’t know… Asuka won the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a TLC Triple Threat Match back in December when she defeated both Charlotte Flair and dethroned ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch in order to win her first title on the main roster since being called up in 2017....

Following a tweet, where he seemed to take a potshot at WWE’s Superstars, Hogan was challenged to a match by a top SmackDown Superstar for a match at WrestleMania 35. In case you didn’t know… A few weeks ago, Hogan spoke about how he was excited for the Crown Jewel show as well as WrestleMania. Hogan said that he was excited to be at the show and said, “You know something maniacs?...

Triple H asserted that it’s now his job to build the new generation of talent in the WWE, and he will indeed ‘help’ Mahal by humbling the latter in front of his hometown fans: In case you didn’t know… The WWE recently announced that Triple H vs Jinder Mahal will headline the WWE’s live event ‘Supershow’ in New Delhi, India on December 9th. The show is being billed as India’s biggest professional wrestling match, as ‘The King Of Kings’ Triple H competes against ‘The Modern Day Maharajah’ Jinder Mahal....

On returning to the ring, being able to do what she does for a one-time performance, the doors are always open for her. She indicates a few objectives that she would want to possibly accomplish if she returns to the ring. She wants to give the fans whatever they have been longing for and elevate someone by overcoming challenges. Also, she reveals her desire to work with Natalya and Sasha Banks...

In case you didn’t know… The Undertaker was believed to have retired from wrestling after his defeat at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns, but he came back and fought against John Cena at WrestleMania 34 after Cena requested several times. Since that time, he has not returned to Raw. But last week, WWE announced that he was going to face Triple H in the main event of WWE’s global PPV in Australia dubbed Super Showdown....
