In case you didn’t know… After being attacked by a mysterious man for two weeks in a row, both on SmackDown Live and on Monday Night RAW, former Universal Champion Roman Reigns finally decided to take the matter into his own hands. The Big Dog questioned Buddy Murphy in the closing stages of this week’s SmackDown Live. Initially, Murphy refused to provide an answer to Reigns but after being brutally assaulted by The Big Dog, the latter eventually spilled the beans, claiming that it was apparently Rowan who has been tormenting Reigns on RAW and SmackDown Live....

Stone Cold Steve Austin, who was the focal point of the segment, posted a tweet in response, agreeing with Ray. To date, they have won tag team gold in WWE, New Japan Pro Wrestling, TNA Impact Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and have even held the WCW and NWA tag team titles while they were at WWE and TNA, respectively....

Cesaro beat former world champion Alberto del Rio in the kickoff match. Cesaro pinned Del Rio after he hit him with a Neutralizer- The Club ( Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) defeated the Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto ). Sin Cara took the pinfall after being hit with a Magic Killer from the duo.- The rivalry between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler continued as Baron pinned Ziggler after hitting him with his finishing maneuver “End of Days”- Dean Ambrose defeated his arch rival Chris Jericho in typical Dean Ambrose style after putting him through a table and hitting Dirty Deeds in a “Salt Lake City Street Fight....

Besides, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal’s close friend also spoke about the passion required in pro-wrestling competition. The supposed recruitment drive falls perfectly in line with WWE’s decision to reimplement the brand split plan that was done away with earlier. Now that the WWE’s brands are splitting once again, the franchise is going to need all the wrestlers they can get in order to maintain the balance between their brands, and could tap into the developmental’s talent pool. This could in turn see plenty of NXT stars receiving call-ups to the main roster....

Instead, they handed us a few things to talk about which makes the company look no better, and shows that relies too much on a handful of top stars now since they haven’t really built the newer ones well. Along with the invasion of top SmackDown Live superstars on Raw, and the announcement of the wild-card rule, there were a number of surprises and shockers from this week’s episode....

The night started out with an announcement that sent the WWE Universe into a frenzy and ended with a potential challenge which will rock WrestleMania 35 to its core. In the middle, we watched a couple of matches end in No Contests and an Intercontinental Championship match between Lio Rush and Finn Balor that stole the show in terms of action.
